Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world's leading not-for-profit association for the project management profession. PMI is recognized for the advocacy programs they conduct with governments, organizations and industries around the world as they recognize and embrace project management to achieve business results. With more than 265,000 members in over 170 countries, PMI is the leading membership association for the project management profession.
PMI offers a comprehensive certification program for practitioners with different levels of experience. The program supports a career framework in the project management profession. There are currently five credentials available and no one credential serves as a prerequisite for another.
